Exporting results from your meet database
using Meet Manager

Once a meet is complete, you'll need to export results from your meet database so that you (or another coach) can import results into Team Manager for use in creating top times lists and future meet entries.

PJ Meet Management also offers an expanded version of this learning guide in a downloadable format:

Here's how to export results:

  • From the File menu, choose the Export submenu and then the menu item labeled Results for Team Manager.
  • Meet Manager will display a window labeled Export Results.
  • Click on the down-facing arrow next to the box labeled Team near the top of the Export Results window.
  • From the drop-down menu that appears, click on the name of the team whose results you wish to export.
  • To export results from both teams, click on All Teams.
  • Confirm that the following options are selected:
    • Gender: Both
    • Relays: Relays Plus Athletes
    • Include Splits
    • Zip the .CL2 file

Tip: Choosing Both from the Gender area allows you to export results for men and women when both have competed in the same dual meet. To export results only for your women's team, click on the option button labeled Female Only. To export results only for your men's team, click on the option button labeled Male Only.

  • Click OK to begin the export process.
  • Click OK to complete the export process.
  • Next, choose the location where you'll save the results file that you're creating.
  • From the Meet Results window, click on the down-facing arrow next to the box labeled Drive.
  • From the menu that appears, click on the drive where you wish to save your results file.

Tip: To save your results file to a floppy drive, choose the drive labeled a:.

  • Next, in the box labeled Directory, double-click on the folder where you wish to save your results file.
  • Click OK to save your results file.
  • Once the file has been saved, Meet Manager will alert you by displaying a final message that tells you the name of your results file and confirms the location where it was saved.
  • Write down the name and location of your results file, and click OK to dismiss this window.
  • Once you've saved your results file, you can then attach it to an email and send it to the NESCAC office or to another coach.
